Synopsis
Peter Quill, a human abducted from Earth as a boy, steals a mysterious orb coveted by the fanatical Kree warlord Ronan the Accuser. He soon finds himself the target of a manhunt that unites him with a mismatched crew: green-skinned assassin Gamora, brute-force convict Drax, gun-toting raccoon Rocket, and a tree-like humanoid named Groot. Together they must stop Ronan from wielding the orb's power to destroy the galaxy.
